James L. McCormick

James McCormick joined the firm in 2008 after 13 years of practice with other firms and as a sole practitioner. He primarily represents developers and contractors in construction defect litigation and has been the lead attorney in more than a dozen jury trials. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration San Jose State University in 1989. While attending Golden Gate University’s School of Law, Mr. McCormick was a member of Law Review, and completed internships with the State Attorney General and San Francisco District Attorney’s office. He graduated in 1994 and has been admitted to practice before all courts in California.
