News: GNH Obtains Summary Judgment Against Plaintiff Claiming Brain Injury in Los Angeles

On September 1, 2023, the Los Angeles Superior Court granted summary judgment in favor of GNH client Home Depot based on there being no evidence that Home Depot was negligent. The case involved a claim that Plaintiff suffered a catastrophic brain injury when items in a shipping container collapsed on him during unloading. After conducting discovery, GNH filed a summary judgment motion on grounds that there was no evidence that the container was loaded by or managed by Home Depot.
