News: GNH Obtains Summary Judgment Against Plaintiff Claiming Severe Injuries in Kern County

On November 8, 2024, the Kern County Superior Court granted summary judgment in favor of GNH client Home Depot. The case involved a claim that Plaintiff fell over a large and inanimate display in an aisle and suffered a severe personal injuries. After conducting discovery, GNH filed a summary judgment motion on grounds that the display was open and obvious and Plaintiff had not been watching where she was walking.
