Prior to joining GNH in 2025, Ms. Tolson dedicated the past decade to practicing at Wolkin Curran LLP, a firm renowned for its unparalleled reputation in the insurance coverage industry. Though the firm has since closed its doors, its legacy of excellence continues to resonate within the field. Prior to starting her legal career in civil litigation in 2011, Ms. Tolson gained invaluable trial experience as a criminal prosecutor. While working for the District Attorney’s Office in Santa Clara County, she conducted misdemeanor jury trials and felony and misdemeanor preliminary hearings, honing her litigation skills and building a strong foundation for her career. During law school, she interned with the Homicide Department at the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, where her legal acumen earned her recognition in the San Francisco Chronicle for securing a preliminary hearing victory that resulted in a defendant being charged as an accessory to murder for refusing to testify. Ms. Tolson earned the distinguished title of 2025 Super Lawyer, and received the Rising Star Award from the same Super Lawyers Organization annually from 2015-2023, as well as being listed as one of the Top Women Attorneys in California by SF Magazine.
